2nd Time Around Charity Shop - Manager
Hi I'm Sally. I joined Action Point in October 2017 managing their charity shops.
After lock down we only had the one shop remaining, 2nd Time Around which is now where I am based. I am responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the shop and supporting over 25 volunteers with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
I love helping people to learn new tasks and build their confidence. It melts my heart when a volunteer goes home saying they've had a good day.
Outside of work I like to spend time with my friends, family and grandchildren. We like to play board games and cards. I like listening to arrange of music especially Northern Soul and I travel all over the country attending Northern Soul events.
